First Enterprise Solutions began building in-house content management systems about 10 years ago, supplying them to many companies.

Then about 5 years ago we realised we are having to build and create everything and wanted to streamline our time to be more effective for clients and more cost effective, so started to look around for alternative ways to work.

Then we found various open source CMS systems including our favourite Joomla, it seems hundreds of people were helping to build a project, in those days Joomla had just split from mambo (another CMS) so we watched, after a short period of time looking over the Joomla Code, we found it to be a very good quality and decided to put a few new customers onto a Joomla core.

After several more months we started talking to some of our existing clients about transferring their sites to a different Core, but each needed their own specific features. So slowly, but surely and one by one, we started transferring clients onto a Joomla Core and adapting them to clients specific needs, each time we did this, it became easier and easier until we no longer had clients on our in-house CMS and things moved on from then.
   
We have now put many different businesses online using various CMS's, because of the easy and cost effective upgrade path for everyone, which provides excellent value for the clients and means we can power build anything to work within an open source framework, using component and module cores to a clients specifcation.

Today First Enterprise Solutions have many different sites all running on different open source cores from profitable shopping carts, small micro businesses, through to national newspapers, which are in the top ten thousands busiest sites in the world.

We are not the cheapest, and definitely not expensive considering the amount of effort we place in every website, regardless of size.

Due to our excessive support, extremely fast fully supported online network and sheer quality of the service we offer, we hopefully represent excellent value for money and most importantly we also ensure you get what you need from your website, whether it be generating sales, of using it to support your sales team, a multi access membership, organisation or a national newspaper, we can create it for you.
